"Marvin's Roommate" is the first half of the sixth episode in the first season.
Summary[]
When Stripe's cage starts to roll down the hill, Eddy puts a stone in front of the wheel to keep it from moving. Unfortunately Elizabeth needed the stone for her garden and didn't know that Stripe's cage was about to roll away. After removing the stone, the cage rolls down the hill and it's destroyed so while Stripe's is having his cage repaired after the unfortunate accident, Marvin invites him to be his roommate. However, when the two friends don't discuss their frustrations about one's living habits, Marvin had to get rid of his hay bed because it makes Stripes sneeze and Stripes' jungle noises used to help him sleep keeps Marvin awake. Soon sleep is lost and nerves become frayed all over living habits. To make matters worse Stripes starts to turn Marvin's tent into his own home by giving it a jungle theme, Stripes even pounces on Marvin. Soon both he and Stripes have a little snit that leads to an argument. Luckily, all it takes is a little help from Eddy for the two to realize how strong their friendship is and how important it is to communicate and talk to each other. When somebody is doing something that's bothering another person, they should tell the person right away so that they will know what's wrong and how the latter feels, instead of hiding your true feelings and lying about them.
